Why Bill Gates decides to Sell OFF Microsoft?

Why Bill Gates decides to Sell OFF Microsoft?
Letter from amithab to Mr. Bill Gates of Microsoft
Subject: Problems with my new computer
Dear Mr. Bill Gates,
We have bought a computer for our home and we have found some problems,
which I want to bring to your notice.1. There is a button ‘start’ but there is no ‘stop’ button. We request you
to check this.2. We find there is ‘Run’ in the menu. One of my friends clicked ‘run’ he
ran up to Mumbai ! So, we request you to change that to ‘sit’, so that we
can click that by sitting.3. One doubt is whether any ‘re-scooter’ is available in system? I find only
‘re-cycle’, but I own a scooter at my home.4. There is ‘Find’ button but it is not working properly. My wife lost the
door key and we tried a lot trace the key with this ‘ find’ button, but was
unable to trace. Please rectify this problem.5. My child learnt ‘Microsoft word’ now he wants to learn ‘Microsoft
sentence’, so when you will provide that?6. I bought computer, CPU, mouse and keyboard, but there is only one icon
which shows ‘MY Computer’: when you will provide the remaining items?7. It is surprising that windows says ‘MY Pictures’ but there is not even a
single photo of mine. So when will you keep my photo in that.8. There is ‘MICROSOFT OFFICE’ what about ‘MICROSOFT HOME’ since I use the
PC at home only.9. You provided ‘My Recent Documents’. When you will provide ‘My Past
Documents’?10. You provide ‘My Network Places’. For God sake please do not provide ‘My
Secret Places’. I do not want to let my wife know where I go after my office
hours.Regards,
Amiyhab.
Last one to Mr Bill Gates :
Sir, how is it that your name is Gates but u are selling WINDOWS?

The Indian National Army soldier – Who is he?
I got this again from the India community (IC 370) in Orkut from a thread started by a person called Mukesh
The Indian Army’s soldier. Who is he?
Your alarm goes off; you hit the snooze and sleep for another 10 minutes
He stays up for days on endYou take a warm shower to help you wake up
He goes days or weeks without running waterYou complain of a ‘headache’, and call in sick
He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forwardYou put on your anti war/don’t support the troops shirt,
and go meet up with your friends
He still fights for your right to wear that shirtYou talk trash about your ‘buddies’ that aren’t with you
He knows he may not see some of his buddies againYou walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls
He walks the streets, searching for insurgents and terroristsYou complain about how hot it is
He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his browYou go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got
your order wrong
He doesn’t get to eat todayYour wife/mother/ maid makes your bed and washes your clothes
He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are cleanYou go to the mall and get your hair redone
He doesn’t have time to brush his teeth todayYou’re angry because your class ran 5 minutes over
He’s told he will be held over an extra 2 monthsYou call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight
He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from homeYou hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday
He holds his letter close and smells his love’s perfumeYou roll your eyes as a baby cries
He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they’ll ever meetYou criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything…
He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fightingYou hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him
He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded – and of the innocents who have no one to stand up for themYou see only what the media wants you to see
He sees the broken bodies lying around himYou stay at home and watch TV
He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eatYou crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get comfortable
He crawls under a tank for shade and a 5 minute nap, only to be awakened by gunfireYou sit there and judge him, saying the world is probably a worse place because of men like him
If only there were more men like him!The Indian Army’s soldier

K-Meleon light great mozilla based browser
My search for the lightest browser that can compat all the problems of my system’s memory shortcomings continues. My latest discovery is the K-Meleon browser with which I am blogging right now. It is just too fast. I don’t know whether it crashes or has any other problems. But it is a lot more stable than other browsers with orkut and blogger. And it is lightning quick too. That is what attracted me. It is the RAM less man’s Mozilla Firefox. It has got great stability. But it is very very quick. I can’t describe my feelings in words. I am running media player and it is still dazzling fast. I keep on repeating praising its speed because it is really that fast.
So why wait?

Mr PM! Have you kept your promises?
I got this as an email.
LETTER TO PRIME MINISTER
Dear Mr. Prime minister
I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train compartment which has
capacity of 100 persons, I travel with 500 more mouse. Mouse at least
squeak but we don’t even do that.Today I heard your speech. In which you said ‘NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED’. I
would like to remind you that fourteen years has passed since serial bomb
blast in Mumbai took place. Dawood was the main conspirator. Till today he
is not caught. All our bolywood actors, our builders, our Gutka king meets
him but your Government can not catch him. Reason is simple; all your
ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made to catch him
everybody will be exposed. Your statement ‘NOBODY WOULD BE SPARED’ is
nothing but a cruel joke on this unfortunate people of India.Enough is enough. As such after seeing terrorist attack carried out by
about a dozen young boys I realize that if same thing continues days are
not away when terrorist will attack by air, destroy our nuclear reactor and
there will be one more Hiroshima. We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb. You
promised Mumbaikar Shanghai what you have given us is Jalianwala Baug.Today only your home minister resigned. What took you so long to kick out
this joker? Only reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family. Loyalty to
Gandhi family is more important than blood of innocent people, isn’t it?I am born and bought up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years. Believe me
corruption in Maharashtra is worse than that in Bihar. Look at all the
politician, Sharad Pawar, Chagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray ,
Gopinath Munde, Raj Thackray, Vilasrao Deshmukh all are rolling in money.
Vilasrao Deshmukh is one of the worst Chief minister I have seen. His only
business is to increase the FSI every other day, make money and send it to
Delhi so Congress can fight next election. Now the clown has found new way
and will increase FSI for fisherman so they can build concrete house right
on sea shore. Next time terrorist can comfortably live in those house ,
enjoy the beauty of sea and then attack the Mumbai at their will.Recently I had to purchase house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen builders.
Everybody wanted about 30% in black. A common person like me knows this and
with all your intelligent agency & CBI you and your finance minister are
not aware of it. Where all the black money goes? To the underworld isn’t
it? Our politicians take help of these goondas to vacate people by force. I
myself was victim of it. If you have time please come to me, I will tell
you everything. If this has been land of fools, idiots then I would not have ever cared to
write you this letter. Just see the tragedy, on one side we are reaching
moon, people are so intelligent and on other side you politician has
converted nectar into deadly poison. I am everything Hindu, Muslim,
Christian, Schedule caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian Schedule caste,
Creamy Schedule caste only what I am not is INDIAN. You politician have
raped every part of mother India by your policy of divide and rule.Take example of former president Abdul Kalam. Such a intelligent person,
such a fine human being. You politician didn’t even spare him. Your party
along with opposition joined the hands, because politician feels they are
supreme and there is no place for good person.Dear Mr Prime minister you are one of the most intelligent person, most
learned person. Just wake up, be a real SARDAR. First and foremost expose
all selfish politician. Ask Swiss bank to give name of all Indian account
holder. Give reins of CBI to independent agency. Let them find wolf among
us. There will be political upheaval but that will better than dance of
death which we are witnessing every day. Just give us ambient where we can
work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of law. Everything else
will be taken care of.Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister. Do you want to be lead by one person or
you want to lead the nation of 100 Crore people.

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was (is) in orkut
This is really sad. It is extremely disarraying for the mind to see something like this. A young man who is on Orkut, but who is not on earth. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who braved his life in the fight for Taj was on orkut. This is no fake profile. He has (or had? I am in a confusion) 78 friends, but unfortunately his scrapbook is locked. The profile is going to remain as a living monument of his bravery in orkut. I got this from a very small community called Anti-Terrorist Squad, from this Sandeep Unnikrishnan -NSG Commando thread

Terror subduing
I was in front of NDTV all through last night. They were showing always-on live coverage of the attack against the terrorists. What I noticed amazingly striking was that though there were only about 30 terrorists in the fight, they were not so easily giving up. They have decided to give their lives for this attack to be a success – to kill maximum – so they are doing everything possible to hide from our commandos and there are more than enough places to hide in at the Taj, Oberoi Trident and Nariman House. So one thing is for sure. This is going to be a long fight. And it will be only once this is all over that we can discuss in serious where we went wrong.
But one positive thing about these attacks is the way things were handled during the crisis. The hotel staffs were exceptionally courageous and they led the guests living inside to safety before the gunmen could catch a sight of them. Also the commandos. They have been doing their duty, but exceptionally well, by capturing or killing these terrorists.
It is high time that we look into our own security. Though I may be sitting in my chair and typing this post now, I can be killed or injured at any moment. So let us unite for a better and safer India

Mumbai fighting
Nation is challenged. Mumbai is attacked. More than 100 killed. Terrorists of number about 30 each firing from 3 hotels in Mumbai – Taj, Oberoi and Nariman House. Everyone is in chaos. The largest orkut community has only one voice – we should unite for a mass action against the terrorists for securing our own safety.
